Al Sud Palmares new menu elevates Algarve flavors
AL SUD Palmares, the fine dining restaurant at the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort, located in the city of Lagos, reopened its doors, days after renewing its Michelin star. This time, Chef Louis Anjos, ambassador of Algarve regional cuisine, invites his customers to participate in a gastronomic journey immersed in flavors of the sea, which together with the intensity of the Algarve baroque, revive traditional recipes.
The refinement of Al Sud Palmares’ cuisine is joined by the harmony of pairings designed solely with the names of Algarve wines, as well as the most recent innovations and global fusions of bar compositions.
This season, Louis Anjos revisits some of his iconic creations such as the ‘Algarvian squid with lcagoita’ and the ‘Tuna with oyster from the Ria de Alvor’. When it comes to new features, the Chef presents the ‘Salmonette with tomato sherry’ or the ‘Carob with fig leaf’, among other dishes.
Al Sud Palmares is open from Wednesday to Saturday during the month of February and from April onwards it will also open its doors on Tuesdays, with the tasting menu priced at €175 and wine pairing at €95. € (contact for reservations is restaurantealsud@palmaresresort.com) .
